Definition

No supply describes weak selling pressure after a decline or into a test area. It can matter when the market has already shown signs of strength.

Confirmation

A no-supply read is stronger when price refuses to continue lower and later shows demand response. It is weaker when price simply drifts without structure.

What it is not

No supply is not a buy signal by itself. It is a context clue that must be tested against location, risk, and confirmation.

Review question

Was selling actually absent, or was the market simply inactive?
